INNOVATIVE LEARNING + CHILD INITIATED PLAYWELCOME TO OUR COMMUNITY
Our EnvironmentWinner of the Victorian Outdoor Spaces award in 2017, we are extremely proud of the natural environment we have cultivated at Noble Park. With large areas to play and explore, students are able to enjoy the many different terrains, plant life and play structures available to them. This focus on ‘old school’ ways of play ensure students learn how to amuse themselves away from the distractions of technology and give them vital fresh air and exercise during the school day.
tailored learningWith a strong focus on the individual learning of each child, we pride ourselves on personalising the instruction to ensure we are educating the whole child. This student centred learning model gives us a thorough understanding of each child and therefore what motivates them to achieve. With the support of parents and the wider community we aim to give children the life skills and hands on learning that they need to succeed.
Our Mission & Vision
Noble Park Primary School is a part of the Victorian State Education system, which has at its core the notion of opportunities for everyone, so students receive ‘…benefits of a quality school education’. This should occur in an environment which is safe for every child. Within that context we believe that ‘… it takes a village to raise a child…’
From Our Principal
“Noble Park Primary School is a school that reaches out to its community and endeavours to include students and families in the life of the school. Being just a school is not enough these days, so, while our immediate focus is on learning, we believe that we need to have a community focus to ensure that we are maximising all available resources to improve the education for our children. To that end, we have partnerships with local schools, businesses, service organisations and Monash University… ”

HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK
Around the School
We were proud and excited to see the culmination of many months work come together in this heart warming story written by our own students. Working with Monash University researchers, the project highlights the plight of many of our students and is narrated by one of our Year 4 students Nathan.
Noble Park PS choirs, Junior and Senior, competed against eight other choirs from the City of Greater Dandenong area, in the annual ‘Voices of the Choir’ competition. The two choir leaders, Kirsty Ludecke, Senior and Helena, Junior were very proud of the children’s efforts. The other choirs are all to be commended and the children enjoyed seeing the polished performances from other schools.
The choir competition was in its eleventh year and has been sponsored by Noble Park PS and Wallarano PS, which provides the venue. The original idea for the competition was born out of an idea from a former Noble Park PS student, Elizabeth Maka. At the time there were television competitions like ‘Battle of the Choirs’ and she thought it would be a great opportunity for our choir at the time to compete against others. As they say, ‘from little things big things grow’. When I approached other principals in the area about the idea, they were all enthusiastic, and that same year we held our first Voices of the Choirs.
I am very proud to say that our Junior Choir received acknowledgement for the most original arrangement and our Senior choir was awarded the perpetual shield for ‘Best All Round Performance’.
Well done Kirsty, Helena and choristers, we are very proud of you all!
