The Noble Park Primary School playgroup brings young children, parents, families and the community together to learn and develop through informal play activities and social interaction.
Our playgroup aims to help parents and caregivers of Noble Park Primary School to build social and support networks that encourage and assist them in their valuable parenting role.
Young children go through rapid brain and skill development. Babies play experiences stimulate their senses and toddlers build on these play experiences to practise using their hands and their emerging language skills. Preschool children continue to learn as they play and practise social skills, an important preparation for kindergarten and school.
At playgroup children can:
- develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually
- make new friends
- have new experiences
- gain self confidence
- develop cooperation skills
- develop communication skills
- extend their experience of literacy in a social environment
